Holy Scribe

The Art of the Scribe

For over three thousand years, the sacred craft of the sofer has been passed from hand to hand.

A living tradition

Each letter is formed with a quill and specially prepared ink, following rules preserved for millennia. Nothing is printed; every stroke is made by a human hand in Jerusalem.

Materials of permanence

We use archival cotton-rag parchment and museum-quality inks, so your keepsake endures for generations.

Inscribed, not printed

The difference between a printed page and an inscribed one is the difference between a copy and an heirloom.
